Information Technology Apprenticeship - Advanced


Job Description

Information Technology is at the beating heart of our innovative business. Network roles offer scope to get involved in planning, installing and testing our global networks.

You'll work in a series of roles across our managed customer service function looking at how we install, deliver and fix our complex products. We will provide training on networks and you'll learn about our core infrastructure such as IPT (telephony), LAN and WAN and how we manage our networks.

We're looking for people who are interested in technology and keen to learn more. You'll be happy to talk to our customers and your colleagues to work together to solve problems.

Entry Requirements

You must have, or expect to achieve, 4 subjects at National 5 including English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications.

Training is on the job as well as attendance at college.

Qualifications Achieved

On an advanced apprenticeship you complete an NVQ Level 2 or 3, functional skills and a knowledge based qualification such as a BTEC.
